Training Approach:

For jointly trained graduate students, enrollment is under Shenzhen University. Enrollment management, training requirements, degree conferral, and other regulations follow Shenzhen University's guidelines. Students who meet Shenzhen University's graduation and degree application requirements will receive a Shenzhen University diploma and degree certificate.

SUAT is responsible for the full-process management of the 2025 cohort of jointly trained students, while Shenzhen University oversees the requirements for each stage of the process. SUAT provides students with course instruction, research projects, and professional practical education, along with generous scholarships and financial aid, including but not limited to: Academic allowances, meal subsidies, commercial medical insurance, industry collaboration rewards, patent invention rewards, and various established special scholarships. Jointly trained students are not supported for master's-to-PhD transfers during their training period. They may apply for PhD programs at both universities as regular candidates.
