Rooted in biological sciences with a focus on synthetic biology, the Faculty of Synthetic Biology leverages world-class research platforms, such as Shenzhen Synthetic Biology Infrastructure and the National Industrial Innovation Center for Bio-manufacturing, as well as an international talent hub. It aspires to become a national center for cultivating talent in life sciences, synthetic biology, and interdisciplinary fields, a bastion of scientific culture preservation, a leading hub for synthetic biology research in China, and an internationally renowned center. 1.The emblem’s design is inspired by the Chinese character for “synthesis” (合成), integrated with the abbreviation “FSB” (Faculty of Synthetic Biology). It incorporates a book symbolizing education, a double helix representing synthetic biology, and architectural elements denoting an academic institution, reflecting the Faculty’s focus on professional education in synthetic biology.
2.The text logo features a sans-serif font with upright, balanced, and clear strokes, characterized by a square, dignified structure and concise, minimalist design.
