The State Key Laboratory of Quantitative Synthetic Biology (the “Laboratory”) was officially established by the Chinese Academy of Sciences on June 29, 2023. Aligned with the Ministry of Science and Technology and the Chinese Academy of Sciences’ requirements for optimizing and restructuring national key laboratories, the Laboratory leverages systematic and institutional advantages to plan and execute major national scientific tasks in synthetic biology, focusing on key technological advancements.
