Wei Wang,a Research Assistant Professor at Shenzhen University of Advanced Technology (SUAT), received his Ph.D. in Regenerative Medicine from the Institute of Zoology, Chinese Academy of Sciences. He obtained his B.Sc. in Life Sciences from Sichuan University. He conducted postdoctoral research at Zhongshan School of Medicine, Sun Yat-sen University, and Shenzhen Bay Laboratory, and later served as an Assistant Researcher at Shenzhen Bay Laboratory. His research focuses on stem cells and epigenetic regulation, as well as epigenetic mechanisms underlying autism spectrum disorder. Dr. Wang has led one General Program project funded by the Guangdong Basic and Applied Basic Research Foundation. In recent years, he has published three papers as first author/co-first author in leading international journals, including Science Translational Medicine, Nature Communications, and Genome Medicine, with his study on KAT7-mediated regulation of aging highlighted by Faculty Opinions. He has also contributed to four additional SCI-indexed publications.
