Dr. CHEN is interested in the research on the auxinsignaling, the root gravitropism in plant roots, the extrusion of chromatin loops in yeast, and the biosynthesis of selenoproteins. He is also engaged in teachingcourses in biochemistry, molecular biology, and geneandcell engineering. Dr. CHEN has published more than 10 research papers in academic journals including theProceedings of the National Academy of Sciences of the United States of America,Frontiers in Plant Science,ACS Chemical Neuroscience,Nature Communications, and Chinese Bulletin of Botany.
