Dr. Guo Shanshan,an assistant research professor and a Shenzhen High-Level Talent (Pengcheng Peacock Plan, Class C). She earned her bachelor's degree from Huazhong University of Science and Technology, pursued her master's and doctoral studies at the National Center for Nanoscience and Technology, completed joint doctoral training at the QIMR Berghofer Medical Research Institute in Australia, and subsequently worked as a postdoctoral researcher and assistant researcher at the Amsterdam University Medical Center and the Shenzhen Institutes of Advanced Technology, Chinese Academy of Sciences. Her primary research focuses on the pathophysiological mechanisms of metabolic diseases and the exploration of therapeutic strategies. Relevant findings have been published in journals such as Nano Letters, Blood, Haematologica, ACS Applied Materials & Interfaces, and Molecular Metabolism. She has secured project funding from the China Postdoctoral Science Foundation and the Guangdong Basic and Applied Basic Research Foundation, etc. Since January 2024, she has served as a Young Editorial Board Member of Nano TransMed.
