Professor Chuxia Deng has long focused on cancer and precision medicine, especially research on the carcinogenic mechanisms of BRCA1. He also covers metabolic diseases, aging, stem cells, organoids, tumor immunity, and drug development. He has published a series of pioneering research results in Cell, Nature, Science and their sub-journals, as well as various high-level journals. In total, he has published more than 500 papers, with over 88,000 citations, and a Google Scholar H-index of 158. His academic influence ranks first or second in the field of biochemistry in the Greater China region according to Elsevier (2023-2025). Since 2006, Professor Deng has served as the founding editor-in-chief of International Bioscience, which will have an IF of 11.7 in 2025.

2. Organizer of the Macau Biomedical Science Symposium (2014–2026)

Organized 12 sessions of the symposium from 2014 to 2026, served as Chair for all 12 conferences, and gave invited talks at 5 of them. This annual symposium has become a key biomedical exchange platform in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.
