Biography

Fuyu Duan, Research Assistant Professor at Shenzhen University of Advanced Technology (SUAT), holds a Ph.D. in Biology from Tsinghua University School of Medicine and subsequently worked as a postdoctoral fellow and assistant researcher at Guangzhou Women and Children's Medical Center. His research specializes in the directed differentiation and therapeutic applications of human pluripotent stem cells (hPSCs). Dr. Duan secured funding as Principal Investigator for one China Postdoctoral Science Foundation project and served as a core member of a major national stem cell research initiative. He contributed to establishing one industry-recognized technical specification (group standard) and has published 6 first/co-first-author papers in journals including Stem Cell Research & Therapy, Nature, Nature Communications, and, alongside 10+ co-authored publications. He also holds four authorized Chinese invention patents, demonstrating his innovative contributions to stem cell technology.
