Biography

Dr. Jinggang Lan is a Professor at the Faculty of Synthetic Biology, Shenzhen University of Advanced Technology. In 2023, he was awarded the Excellent Young Scientists Fund (Overseas) by the National Natural Science Foundation of China and recognized as a Category B Talent under the Shenzhen “Peacock Plan.” His research focuses on multiscale simulation methods, integrating density functional theory, second-order Møller–Plesset perturbation theory (MP2), first-principles molecular dynamics, path-integral molecular dynamics, and machine learning to uncover the microscopic mechanisms underlying complex systems.
